Yoda Prepares Talking Points to Ask The Jedi Council for a Raise

  • For sitting down with me today, I do thank you.
  • Market research, I have done. Undervalued, I do feel.
  • 800 years, tirelessly at this job have I worked.
  • Twenty thousand padawans have I trained. Evil to their very core only a SMALL HANDFUL did turn.
  • To be Jedi is to face the truth. Pittance salary does not reflect my value, the truth is.
  • Desire to live like Jabba, I do not. But a few luxuries Yoda craves.
  • Inflation clouds everything. Impossible to pay the bills, it is.
  • Live in a freaking hut, I do. Eat root leaf stew every night to survive, I must.
  • Soon will I rest, yes, forever sleep. Earned it I have. But eludes the grasp of my frail green talons, retirement does.
  • Work until I die, must I?
  • Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things. It is a living wage the Jedi craves.
  • “Patience you must have,” to my young padawans I do say. But old Yoda’s patience has run out.
  • Offering six figures PLUS benefits are the Sith.
  • Compete with this offer, can you? Your path you must decide
  • Do or do not give me a raise, there is no try.
